TO THOSE AFFECTED BY THE RECENT EMPLOYEE EVENTS AT MYVEGAS MAGAZINE
If you’re reading this, you have been invited to know what recently happened at MyVegas Magazine. We have been under attack from three recent terminated, disgruntled employees. Two in particular, a young 27 year old man, and a 38 year old woman, who’s names we will leave out at this time. Both, as they left my building, swore to decimate my company with malicious slander, and since, have turned to Social Media, text, and phone calls with fabricated false statements and erroneous lies. We have now confirmed the slander, libel and defamation of character and we are currently prosecuting them to the fullest extent of the law.
As a 60 year local veteran of Las Vegas, I have no less than ten very close friends on metro as officers and/or sergeants who have confirmed the slander the juveniles are committing is 100% false and fabricated, and seven criminal lawyers also have verified the exact same.
If you have been in business for any length of time, you may have experienced this ex-employee “millennial terrorism” in your company. Over the years, and recent months, I have experienced employee issues from embezzlement, impersonating the owner in emails, stealing customer checks, lying to clients, damaging company property, drug and alcohol use at work, falsifying company records, insubordination, using company property for personal business, destroying and deleting intellectual company property, discussing their gay porn history with other employees at work, disgruntled angry employees plotting evil doings against the owner, posting hateful heinous lies on Facebook about the company, and most recently, stealing company property, destroying company property, lying to clients to get commissions, and pornography on their computers. Metro fraud unit has taken away my bad employees in hand cuffs, right from their desk.
These were all company crimes that I could not tolerate, and will never accept. We have since made major changes in our Policies and Procedures, to upgrade and protect the company from future employee crimes of malice, with new office cameras in every room, client contracts and credit card information is now locked up in company safe, strict enforcement of all policies, employee background checks, change of passwords weekly, and new employee contracts that secure the company more than ever before.
We have 648 clients to which only 2 have bought into their lies and deceit, and we are very proud of our long-term clients who have seen right thru the malice of these rogue employees.
On the brighter side, MyVegas is GROWING AGAIN! We are expanding our reach through the Vegas Valley with 100 new distribution outlets, to be unveiled soon, more circulation, more magazines, more content, a new website, better staff, Social Media division and Website Building division. And in 18 months, watch for the launch of “MyNashville” Magazine, January 2020!
I apologize for the bad behavior of my ex-employees, and hope you never have to deal with this kind of business assassination and terrorism. But if you do, call me, I’ve learned some amazing counter-terrorism skills that have sustained my company for the last 40 years. I’ve learned how to protect and defend my business, and I’d be happy to help you defend your business too.
Thank you, and here’s my cell if you ever need it.
Mark Shaffer, Publisher/Owner.
